Thomas Jefferson Burns married Rosa Lee Overstreet, daughter of James Stephen Overstreet and Wylanta Matilda McNair, on 13 Sep 1903 in Decatur Co., GA.9 Thomas Jefferson Burns was enumerated as Head of Household in the census of 1910 in Grady Co., GA with others in the household: Rosa Lee Overstreet, Hazel Burns and Hilda Burns.5

The family moved to Whigham, Decatur Co., GA, circa 1915. They had been living in Calvary.10

     Edward Allen Quigg was born on 5 Mar 1860 in Volney, Oswego Co., NY.4,5 He was the son of William James Quigg and Mary <...>.

Edward Allen Quigg was enumerated in the censuses of 1860 in Volney, Oswego Co., NY in the household of William James Quigg (his father),6 of 1865 in Volney, Oswego Co., NY in the household of Mary <...> (his mother),7 of 1870 in Volney, Oswego Co., NY in the household of Mary <...> (his mother),8 and of 1875 in Oswego Town, Oswego Co., NY in the household of George Ward (his stepfather.)9

Edward Allen Quigg moved to Orange Co., FL, between 18 Dec 1881 and 1882. His mother had just died a few months before the 1875 census. He was not found in the US1880 census. He and his brother had a court case in Oswego in 1881 and were in Orange Co. by 1882, when his brother married.10

Edward Allen Quigg was enumerated in the censuses of 1885 in the household of Richard Marion Quigg (his brother),11 and of 1885 in the household of Mary Ann Quigg (his aunt), all in Orange Co., FL.11

These two census records are on the same page, 1 record with his brother, Richard, and his brother's wife and child; 1 record with his aunt and brother. Between these two entries is one for Richard's in-laws and his own future in-laws.11

Edward Allen Quigg married Anne Virginia Proctor, daughter of William J. Proctor and Elizabeth Jane Holder, on 20 Aug 1886 in Orlando, Orange Co., FL.12 Edward Allen Quigg bought the NE¼ of the SE¼ of Section 36, Township 20S, Range 31E, in Orange Co., FL, on 26 May 1888.13 He bought the N½ of the NW¼ of Section 28, Township 20S, Range 32E, in Seminole Co., FL, on 13 Oct 1893.14 In Dec 1897 he was doing well on his plantation, as attested by a visitor from Oswego, S. Peterson, who bragged about the size of the pineapples, oranges, lemons, etc.15
