     Lucy Corker was born circa 1658.2 She was the daughter of Capt. William Corker and Lucy White.

In the will of Capt. William Corker, dated 26 Feb 1675/76 in Surry Co., VA, Lucy Corker, his daughter, was named as an heir.3 She was making a deposition about a horse that fell down a hill and Thomas Jordan shot. She said that he hadn't set out to kill the horse. This deposition gives her age as about 24. (Surry Co., 06 Mar 1682.)2

Lucy Corker married first Thomas Jordan, son of Samuel Jordan.1 Lucy Corker gave a deed of gift to Phyllis Jordan, her daughter, who was to receive Lucy's portion of land, willed by her father, William Corker, to Lucy and her sisters, Susanna Branch and Judith Clay (whose portion now belongs to Elizabeth Parsons, Judith's daughter). This took place, 4 Sep 1688 in Surry Co., VA.4

Lucy's second marriage was to William Rose, son of William Rose and Anne <...>, between 4 Sep 1688 and 5 Mar 1689 in VA.5

Lucy Corker died after 1698/99.6

Samuel Jordan

     Samuel Jordan was born in England.1 He immigrated to Jamestown, James City Co., VA, in 1610 on the ill-fated Sea Venture which was shipwrecked on an island in the Burmudas. The passengers were able to build two ships from the wreckage of the Sea Venture, and sail to Jamestown, arriving 42 weeks after the other ships arrived.1

Samuel's second marriage was to Cicely Reynolds in VA and in addition to the named sons, they had three daughters.1

Samuel Jordan died in 1622/23.1
