Strange that Molcy supposedly d. 1897, didn’t appear in the 1900 or 1910 census, but miraculously appears in 1920. He was enumerated as Head of Household in the census of 1920 in Grady Co., GA, with others in the household: Joseph Oscar Herring and Abbie Cornelia Herring.

Joseph Herring died on 25 May 1924 in Calvary, Grady Co., GA, at age 67 of influenza; the informant of the death was C. H. Maxwell, his nephew and doctor.13,2,3 Joseph Herring was buried in Herring Family Cemetery, Calvary, Grady Co., GA.14,2,15
