Joseph G. Ellison married first Caroline Octavia Langley, daughter of Isaiah Jeremiah Langley and Caroline Calloway, on 19 Dec 1865.4 Joseph G. Ellison was enumerated as Head of Household in the census of 1870 in Terrell Co., GA, with others in the household: Caroline Octavia Langley.
