Samuel Hollingsworth served in the Revolutionary War.3

Samuel Hollingsworth married Sarah Adams in 1782.3

In the will of Mary Hollingsworth, dated 22 Apr 1803 in Cecil Co., MD, Samuel Hollingsworth, her son, was named as an heir, and executor of the estate.4

In the will of Levi Hollingsworth, dated 18 Aug 1822 in Baltimore, Baltimore Co., MD, Samuel Hollingsworth, his uncle, was named as an heir, and executor of the estate.5 On 31 Mar 1823 in Baltimore, Baltimore Co., MD, Samuel declined serving as an executor of his nephew Levi's will.6
