But I found a marriage record for Grady and Mary E.'s son, Harold Stanford, that had his mother's name as Mary Etta Cockrell. The ages on the 1940 census, Harold's marriage record, and Annie D.'s records match up and the census was in Clay Co. where Annie D. had always been.
