George's second marriage was to Jane Carter, daughter of James Carter and Jane/Catherine Hale, before 1749.7,8

The family moved to SC in 1762. Included all except Robert and his family.9

George Hollingsworth died in 1786 in Newberry Co., SC.10 He was buried in Bush River Quaker Cemetery, Newberry, Newberry Co., SC.10

     Jane Carter was born circa 1727. She was the daughter of James Carter and Jane/Catherine Hale.

Jane Carter married George Hollingsworth, son of Abraham Hollingsworth and Ann Robinson, before 1749.2,3 Jane Hollingsworth and others took part in the petition brought by Samuel Hale, to divide the land left them by their father/grandfather, Warwick. The hearings took place, between 23 Nov 1749 and 9 Feb 1751, New Castle Co., DE.4

She was the daughter of Warwick Hale's deceased daughter, Jane Hale, who had married James Carter.4
