Some notes on the Oliver family:
Aaron and his wife had a son between 1816 and 1820. Their daughter, Sarah Ann, was born in 1821.
When Aaron died in 1822, there is evidence that his wife and children went to live with Rhesa, Sr. and Mary, Aaron's parents. Here's why: In the Marion District 1820 census, Aaron (26-44) and his wife (16-25) are shown with a son (0-9). Aaron died in 1822, when the son was between 2 and 6 and Sarah Ann was about 1 year old. The Leon Co., FL 1830 census shows Rhesa, Sr. (70-79); his wife Mary (70-79); 2 females (30-39), possibly their daughter, Nancy (born c. 1790), and Aaron's widowed wife; a male (10-14) and a female (5-9), possibly Aaron's son, name currently unknown, and daughter, Sarah Ann.
In 1841 Sarah Ann married Daniel Geddie and one of their sons was Thomas Jefferson Geddie.
In the 1850 and 1860 US censuses, Rhesa, Jr. appears with his children, Charlotte Oliver (ages 23 and 33) and Avin Oliver (ages 21 and 31).
In 1869, Charlotte Oliver married Charles S. Jones.
In the 1870 US census Thomas Jefferson Geddie, son of Daniel and Sarah Ann Oliver Geddie, is enumerated with Charlotte Jones.
In the 1885 FL census Charlotte Jones is enumerated with the Thomas Jefferson Geddie family, with Charlotte listed as Aunt (she is his 1st cousin once removed).
In a document "Action to Quiet Title" (13 Feb 1964), among the legatees for a property owed by Charlotte Oliver Jones is T. J. Geddie and his wife, Ella J. Geddie (2nd wife).
Thomas Jefferson Geddie named a son Avin Oliver Geddie.
