     Clement Briggs was born in 1597/98 in Southwark, Surrey, England.2 He immigrated to Boston, Suffolk Co., MA, in 1620/21 from London, England on the ship, 'Fortune.2'

Clement Briggs married Joan Allen, daughter of George Allen and Katherine Starkes, circa 1629/30 in Dorchester, MA.2,1 Clement was a feltmonger (hatter.)

Clement Briggs died circa 1647/48 in Weymouth, Norfolk Co., MA.2 His estate was probated on 24 Oct 1650 in Weymouth, Norfolk Co., MA.2
